Healing & Eradicating Abuse Related Trauma

FREEDOM FROM TRAUMA

HEART is founded on belief that every woman can overcome the traumatic effects sexual violence and abuse. HEART is a 501c3 nonprofit charitable faith-based organization incorporated in Virginia and Maryland, and serves women victims of sexual abuse, rape and incest. HEART offers workable tools to help women recognize, communicate about, and work toward eradicating the trauma of sexual violence, rape, and incest. HEART offers a ‘safe space’ for self-exploration and fellowship. HEART is an engaging experience with fellow victims, their potent testimonies of hurt and healing which can greatly and positively affect emotional healing. Through community partnerships, HEART strives to raise awareness and educate community about the traumatic effects of sexual violence. We also have ongoing fundraisers and events to assist women transitioning to independent housing, and other situations where dire help is needed. Need assistance? Contact Us at info@herheart.net.
